Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice world boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a ยฃ1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
